BioQuest 2025
𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗸𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶 is pleased to organize the 3rd edition of 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 in the magical landscapes of Malenadu, Karnataka.
This year’s edition is designed as an immersive learning journey that blends ecological exploration with cultural understanding. We invite students from your institution to participate in this unique field-based experience.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:
• Learn from experts about the rich biodiversity of the Shola forests and dense rainforests of the region
• Discover Malnad’s rich biodiversity
• Experience a heritage walk through a Malnad village, including a visit to a traditional Malnad home
• Explore local Malnad food, customs, and folk music traditions
• Guided birdwatching and nature journaling sessions

Discover the Wild Heart of the City: Guided Nature Walk at Kaikondrahalli Lake
Join us for a serene and immersive walk through the rich biodiversity of Kaikondrahalli Lake, a thriving urban wetland nestled in the heart of Bengaluru.
This walk will introduce you to the lake’s fascinating ecology—from migratory birds like the spot-billed pelican and painted stork, to aquatic plants, native trees, and tiny, overlooked insects that play vital roles in the lake’s health.
Perfect for families, students, photographers, and anyone with a curiosity for nature, the walk promises quiet observation, hands-on learning, and meaningful stories about how people and urban ecosystems can co-exist.
This is a free walk open to all nature enthusiasts.
Duration: 1.5–2 hours
What to bring: Water bottle, hat, binoculars (optional), notebook

Sacred Ecology : A One - Day Immersive Workshop
This experiential learning workshop is designed to foster a deeper understanding of the intrinsic link between India’s sacred heritage and ecological wisdom. Spread over 5 hours combining heritage exploration and journaling in one of the oldest temples around Bengaluru followed by a visit to an organic farm, the session will explore the continuity between traditional knowledge systems and conscious, sustainable living.
